Poison Skin

3rd-level abjuration

Classes druid, warlock, wizard

Casting Time:1 action

Range:Touch

Components:V, S, M (a handful of frog spawn)

Duration:Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You or a willing creature you touch becomes poisonous to the touch. Until the spell ends, whenever a creature damages the target with a melee weapon attack and it is using a weapon that does not have reach, the creature makes a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes poisoned and takes 1d6 poison damage each turn. A poisoned creature can make a Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

The target of the spell also becomes bright and multicolored like a poisonous dart frog, giving them disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the target’s skin is also covered in mucus, giving them advantage on saving throws and checks made to resist being grappled or restrained. In addition, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
