When an ally within range that you can see drops to 0 hit points, as a reaction you can spend 1 point of ki to cast this spell. You can cast this spell on yourself if you are about to drop to 0 hit points. The target instead drops to 1 hit point and any ongoing damage ends. In addition, the target gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls, but takes a -2 penalty to AC.

In addition, every time the target hits with a melee attack it gains 1 temporary hit point.
