Rage

3rd-level enchantment (bard, sorcerer, warlock, wizard)

Casting Time 1 action

Range 120 feet

Components V S

Duration Concentration up to 1 minute

You speak the words of the spell and the target is filled with an unbridled rage. The creature targeted must be willing to give into the anger of this spell. While raging, the target gains the following effects:

  • They have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
  • When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, they deal 2 extra damage.
  • They gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
  • If they are able to cast spells, they can’ t cast them or concentrate on them while in this state.

If the target has the rage class feature, they gain the benefits of their rage rather than the benefits listed above, including any effects provided by their subclass. The rage induced by this spell does not count against the uses of their rage per long rest.

At Higher Levels. When casting this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher, you can target one additional willing target for each spell slot level above 3rd.
