River of Wind

4th-level evocation

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Self (120-foot line)

Components: V, S

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Classes: druid, sorcerer, wizard

You summon the power of the tempest into a current of forceful winds. Creatures and objects in the area are affected as a gust of wind, but in addition the force of the wind deals 3d6 bludgeoning damage each round on your turn, or half as much for creatures that succeed on their Strength saving throw. Those failing their saving throw are knocked prone in addition to being pushed 15 feet away from you. As with gust of wind, you can change the direction in which the river of wind blasts from you as a bonus action. Alternatively, you can use that bonus action to shorten the river of wind to 60 feet, affecting an area 10 feet wide.
