With a successful melee spell attack, you send the target into magical slumber. If the target fails a Wisdom saving throw, it falls asleep. Undead and creatures immune to being charmed aren’t affected by this spell. While the creature is unconscious, it does not fall prone unless you wish it. It can move at half speed but cannot take any other actions, even free actions. It follows if led or guided, or as a bonus action you can compel it to move in a direction of your choice. It has disadvantage on Dexterity and Strength saving throws and ability checks. The spell ends if the creature takes damage. A creature using an action to try to shake or slap the sleeping creature awake grants it a new saving throw but does not automatically awaken it.
