You cast the spell and a rain of dirt, gravel and stones comes down into a 40-foot radius dealing 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage to every creature in the area. The damage only occurs once. For the remainder of the spell’s duration, the fallen dirt and stones create difficult terrain. At the end of the duration, the rocks and dirt disappear leaving no aftereffects.

A successful Dexterity saving throw halves the damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or higher, the bludgeoning damage caused by the stones increases by 1d6.
