Note This spell is a rework of the core spell of the same name.

You instill the target with a mote of radiant energy. For a living creature this causes them to heal 1 hit point at the start of each of their turns. If the target is dying while under the effect of this spell, they automatically succeed their death saving throw for the round instead of being healed to 1 hp immediately.

If the target is undead, they instead take one radiant damage per round at the beginning of their turn.

This spell has no effect on constructs.

At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or higher, the damage healed or dealt each round increases to 2. The damage and healing further increases to 3 if you instead use a spell slot of 5th or higher.
