Wall of Sound

Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You create a thick wall of horrible sound. The wall appears within range in a place of your choosing. It does not need support and can hang in midair. You choose to make the wall up to 60 feet long, 10 feet high, and 5 feet thick or a sphere with a 20-foot radius. The air within the wall is distorted but does not block line of sight.

Creatures near the wall can hear discordant screeches and overly loud beats but are not harmed by it unless inside the wall. When the wall appears, each creature within the walls must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d10 thunder damage, of half as much on a successful save. Any creature can move through the wall somewhat easily. When a creature enters the wall on a turn or ends their turn there, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 6d10 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

A creature cannot cast spells that have a verbal component while inside the space.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage a creature takes from the wall increases by 1d10 for each spell slot used above 6th level.
