Waves of Blood

3rd-level conjuration

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Self (30-foot cone)

Components: V, S, M (a drop of the caster’s blood)

Duration: Instantaneous (see below)

Classes: cleric, warlock, wizard

You cause torrents of roiling blood to push your opponents away from you. Creatures in the area must attempt either a Strength saving throw or Dexterity saving throw (their choice). If the save is failed, they are pushed 10 feet away from you, or 20 feet away from you if they are Small or smaller. Living creatures in the area also must make a Constitution saving throw or become poisoned for 1d6 rounds as they are stricken with nausea by the sanguine flood. They can attempt a new saving throw each round at the beginning of their turn to end the poisoned condition.

The area covered in blood remains dangerously slick for 1 round. The area is treated as difficult terrain, and creatures moving through it must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check or fall prone. A creature prone in the area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw each round at the beginning of its turn or become poisoned for 1 round.
