Kyubi Ascension

Prerequisite(s): Kitsune

You’ve learned to manipulate your chakra, causing you to grow additional tails and transforming you into a kyubi. You gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • Your true form grows an additional tail upon gaining this feat. You can grow additional tails using any of the methods described on pages 10–11, provided the GM agrees that growing an additional tail is an appropriate reward for your deeds during the campaign. The GM determines the rate at which you can acquire additional tails, though you typically can’t have more tails than half your level (minimum 2).
  • You learn the dancing lights spell.
  • You learn one 1st-level bard spell of your choice. This spell must be from the enchantment, illusion, or transmutation schools. You learn an additional spell for each new tail you gain beyond the second; this new spell can be one level higher than the previous tail’s spell (for example, your third tail grants you a spell of 3rd-level or lower, your fourth tail grants you a spell of 4th-level or lower, and so on). You can cast any two spells from among those you’ve gained from this benefit without expending a spell slot. Spells that can be cast at a higher level are always cast at a spell level equal to half your level or 1st-level, whichever is higher. You regain the ability to cast these spells when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
