Prerequisite(s): Ability to cast at least one spell

Some mages are renowned for their use of scripts, crystals, and gems in their garments as well as their spellcasting.

With this feat, you gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Intelligence or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You gain proficiency with calligrapher’s supplies or jeweler’s tools.
• When you use a crystal as an arcane focus, you add your spellcasting ability modifier to the damage you deal with any cantrip.
• You learn a unique script, related to the Primordial alphabet, which allows you to write information, whether mundane or magical, in a very concise format. Text written using this script takes up only one-fifth of the space it would normally require. It can be read only by creatures able to read this script.
