This looks like a normal human or humanoid tooth. When placed in the socket of a freshly-removed tooth, it grafts itself in place, and assumes a form in harmony with the teeth around it. Thereafter, whenever you bite down upon it, it provides one minute of breathable air, protecting against vacuum, drowning, and poisonous fumes for the duration. Once the tooth has been activated, or when it is first placed, it requires one hour to charge itself before it can function again.
