Demon Hunter’s Bow

This +1 hand crossbow has a special detachable compartment (cartridge) that holds 5 bolts. Due to its heavier weight, it requires a minimum strength of 12 to wield with one hand (it can be used with two hands if you do not meet that requirement.

Unlike a traditional hand crossbow, the Demon Hunter’s Bow only has the loading property in the same round that you have to load it with a cartridge; otherwise it does not have this property. The Demon Hunter’s Bow is usually found with 2-4 reloadable cartridges.

Loading: Because of the time required to load this weapon, you can fire only one piece of ammunition from it when you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to fire it, regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make.
