This locking collar is imbued with magic that allows its wearer to breath underwater, useful for land dwellers who need to go below the waves.

Slave-Ring. These variant collars block the wearer’s ability to breath air normally. Often used by slime reaver slavers who capture landspawn, taking them to underwater lairs and trapping them there, the collars prevent air-breathing slaves from returning to the surface world. The collar is attenuated to a ring worn by a slave master, and the collar cannot be removed without the use of the ring. In addition, slave masters can also set a limit on how far a slave may travel from the ring before the collar’s water breathing ability stops working. Once a collar-wearer returns to the allowed area, the collar allows them to breath water again.
