Jotun

Your Jotun character is a humanoid related to giants, giving you a prodigious physique and correspondingly bold attitude.

Jotun Traits

Your jotun character has an assortment of inborn abilities, part and parcel of giant nature.

Ability Score Increase. Choose one of these two: your Strength score increases by 2, or both your Constitution and Wisdom scores increase by 1.

Age. Jotunnar age more slowly than humans, reaching middle age around 150, being recognized as old around age 450, and sometimes living beyond 850 years old.

Alignment. Jotunnar age a little more slowly than humans, reaching middle age around 75 and often living until about 180.

Size. Jotunnar are usually Medium-sized but can grow much larger. Even as Medium creatures they are bulky and intimidating.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Overpowering. You are used to lording your size over those around you. You gain proficiency to Intimidate and Insight skill checks.

Superior Strength. You possess a powerful build and are counted as one size larger when determining carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag or lift.

Superior Constitution. You can focus yourself to shrug off an injury. Upon taking damage, you can use your reaction to roll d12. Add your Constitution modifier to that number and reduce the damage by that total. After using this trait, you cannot use it again until after a long or short rest.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Giant.
