You attempt to beguile a living humanoid that you can see within range. It must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you for the duration. If you or creatures that are friendly to you are fighting it, it has advantage on the saving throw. If the creature fails the save, it is charmed by you until the spell ends or you or our companions do anything harmful to it. The charmed creature regards you as a loved one and will fight to defend you, lie for you, or otherwise protect you with all the tools at its disposal. When the spell ends the creature is still friendly to you and is unaware it was charmed.
