Rmoahali

The rmoahali are a dark-skinned species of humanoids distantly related to tolteks. They are taller than humans, reaching up to eight feet in height. The rmoahali are the descendants of the lemurians and related to the toltek, tlavatli, and trogs. They, along with the toltek, are the rules of Atlantis and use their vril ships to subjugate all who cross them. The weather is a more powerful deterrent they cannot easily overcome, so most rmoahali vril-ships do not stray far beyond their continent. Rmoahali have difficulty with logical reasoning but have exceptional memories, which they pass on through a form of ancestral memory. With such long memories, rmoahali know full well the price of their freedom, as many have been enslaved by Lemurians. Free rmoahali generally avoid contact with what they consider to be lesser species as a result.

Rmoahali have telekinetic powers that they tap from vegetation. These powers manifest as the ability to manipulate objects and even read thoughts. Rmoahali speak their own language but prefer to use telepathy to communicate with others.

Rmoahali have but one name; their ancestral memory ensures they know who belongs to which family.

Female Names: Apiek, Beki, Lekit, Lipek, Mopuni, Navun, Rapan, Tertre

Traits

  • Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
  • Age. Although rmoahali reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the rmoahali understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. A rmoahali typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.
  • Alignment. Rmoahali are aloof and distracted at times, but approach things in a very logical way. This rigidity makes many of them lawful neutral.
  • Darkvision. You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
  • Knowledge from a Past Life. You temporarily remember sporadic glimpses of your ancestral line. When you make an ability check that uses a skill, you can roll a d6 and add the number rolled to the check. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
  • Languages. You can speak, read, and write Atlantean.
  • Limited Telepathy. You can telepathically speak to any creature within 30 feet. You do not have to share a language to speak, however, they must be able to speak a language. You can only communicate simple ideas.
  • Long-Limbed. When you make a melee attack on your turn, your reach for it is 5 feet greater than normal.
  • Personal Temperature. Your average personal temperature is 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Rmoahali Psionics. You know the mage hand cantrip, and the hand is invisible when you cast the cantrip with this trait. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the identify spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the detect thoughts spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells. When you cast them with this trait, they don’t require components.
  • Size. Rmoahali are quite tall, some as tall as 8 feet in height, and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.
  • Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
