This ring of polished gold is inlaid with parallel twining silver tracery and a pair of beasts facing one another. As a bonus action, the wearer can designate one opponent they can see as a dangerous foe, gaining a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws against that opponent. These bonuses persist for up to 1 hour but end immediately if the wearer attacks any creature other than the designated opponent.

Once the effects end, the ring cannot be used again until the wearer completes a short or long rest.
